ADP Sports Academy, Para Sports Excellence Centre (PSEC), located in Greater Noida, is an exclusive academy dedicated to para-athletes. This pioneering facility is the first of its kind in India, specifically training para-athletes across various sports and athletic disciplines. Established by the Association for Disabled People (ADP), with vital support from the Para Sports Foundation, PSEC’s primary aim is to launch a high-performance training centre for para-athletes. We are committed to providing them with the highest quality training and learning experiences to prepare them for upcoming international para sports events, including the Paralympic Games and Asian Para Games.
• The academy has already welcomed more than 100 talented para-athletes, with people yet to be enrol and eagerly waiting for the support.
• 9 players from ADP have been selected for the Asian Games 2023.
• PSEC leverages its facilities to train athletes in a wide range of disciplines, including Running, Jump, Shot Put, Discus throw, Javelin throw, Table Tennis, Archery, Shooting, Powerlifting, and Badminton.
• ADP ensures that all para-athletes under PSEC receive comprehensive, high-quality training, including food and accommodation.
• PSEC provides qualified coaches, dedicated support staff, essential physiotherapy sessions, upgraded equipment, top-tier training materials, nutritional guidance, appropriate sports wheelchairs, and many other necessary facilities.
The ultimate aim of this project is to develop athletes of such exceptional calibre that each represents India at all international levels.

Past Work & Participation of ADP in Sports:
ADP has a rich history of organizing and participating in significant sports events:
• National Paralympic Table Tennis Championship: ADP consistently organized this championship in various locations: New Delhi (2007-2009), Ghaziabad, UP (2010-2012), and New Delhi (2014), in successful collaboration with the Indian Para Table Tennis Federation.
• Planning Commission Steering Committee: In a significant milestone in 2011, ADP received a recommendation to join the Steering Committee of the Planning Commission as a special invitee on Youth Affairs & Sports for the 12th Five-Year Plan. This marked the first inclusion of disability-related matters in such a prestigious committee.
• International Tournaments: ADP took the initiative to host the inaugural International Tournament between India and Bangladesh in April 2017 in New Delhi. Additionally, ADP has consistently organized various National and State tournaments for Wheelchair Cricket over the years.
• Historic Wheelchair Cricket Victories: In 2018, the Indian Wheelchair Cricket Team achieved a historic victory against Bangladesh in the India-Bangladesh Wheelchair Cricket Series held in Dhaka from May 4th to 8th, 2018. Cricket legend Mr. Sachin Tendulkar extended his support to the Indian team during this tour.
• India-Pakistan T-20 Wheelchair Cricket Series: Furthermore, in 2018, ADP collaborated with Wheelchair Cricket India to organize the “India-Pakistan T-20 Wheelchair Cricket Series” in Dubai, UAE, from September 16th to 21st, 2018, where the Indian Team emerged victorious against Pakistan with a commanding 3-0 score line.
